Settlements, Verdicts & Awards

We work hard to obtain maximum compensation for our clients. Constant communication, tough negotiating and expert trial skills have resulted in us obtaining millions of dollars in settlements for the injured.

Here are just a small portion of the damages we were able to collect on behalf of our clients. Due to the confidentiality clauses in some settlement agreements, we cannot share detailed information about many of our biggest cases on our website.

$100,000 POLICY LIMITS SETTLEMENT – Women Gets Full Policy Offer After Driver Fails To Stop At Stop Sign

Our client was traveling north on East Broadway Street in Toledo. Another car was eastbound on Earl Street when they ran a stop sign, entering the intersection of Earl Street and East Broadway Street, and striking our client. Both cars had extensive damage. The at fault driver was cited under RC 4511.43 with a failure to stop at a stop sign. Our client was taken to St. Charles Hospital by the Toledo Fire Department. She was diagnosed with a concussion, umbilical hernia, hiatal hernia, and pain in her shoulder and back. She required surgery to repair her umbilical hernia. Our client proceeded to go through rehabilitation and may need future surgery for her hiatal hernia.

Charles Boyk and his team began to work with our client on her case after she was referred to our firm by a previous client. The liable party did not have insurance, so our focus turned to our client’s insurance company. Our client had uninsured motorist coverage, allowing us to help our client get compensation. After sending a demand to the insurance company, our client accepted a full policy limits offer from her insurance company. Our firm was also able to negotiate a reduction to one of our client’s liens, meaning she pocketed more of the settlement amount.
