Zachary “Zac” Shaffer represents clients in car, truck, and motorcycle accident cases, as well as other personal injury matters, at Charles E. Boyk Law Offices. Known for his approachable style and commitment to client service, Zac has helped hundreds of injured clients navigate the legal process and pursue the compensation they deserve.

A lifelong Northwest Ohio resident, Zac earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Law and Social Thought and Political Science from the University of Toledo before graduating from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2019 with a concentration in Health Care Law. While attending law school, he gained valuable experience as a law clerk for both an insurance company and a personal injury law firm, which provided him with insight into how injury claims are evaluated from multiple perspectives.

Following law school, Zac built a diverse legal background representing clients in employment, family, criminal, and civil matters before returning to his passion—personal injury law. Before joining Charles E. Boyk Law Offices, he served as a pre-litigation attorney with a large regional personal injury firm, where he successfully represented hundreds of injured clients.

In recognition of his early career accomplishments, Zac was named a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers in 2023. He is also an active leader within the legal community, serving on the Toledo Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Committee and the Social Engagement Committee, where he works to support and connect the next generation of attorneys.

Outside the office, Zac enjoys giving back to the community through local organizations, coaching legal softball, and participating in charitable events throughout Northwest Ohio. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a lifelong fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
