Angela’s journey with Charles E. Boyk Law Offices reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to building a career centered around helping others. After working with the firm as both a paralegal and law clerk while earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law, Angela officially became an attorney with Boyk Law after passing the Ohio Bar Exam in 2026. 

Raised in the Shoreland area of Point Place alongside her two brothers, Angela knew from an early age that she wanted to pursue a career in law. She began that journey through the University of Toledo’s Paralegal Studies Program. She gained valuable early experience while working full-time as a law clerk/bailiff for Judge Joshua Lanzinger at the Toledo Municipal Court.

Although she initially considered a career in criminal defense or family law, Angela quickly developed a passion for personal injury and mass tort litigation. She joined Charles E. Boyk Law Offices as a law clerk, working closely with the firm’s attorneys while attending law school in the evenings.

Angela’s path through law school was anything but traditional. While working full-time at the firm, she completed law school in just three and a half years, graduating in December 2025. She then sat for the February 2026 Ohio Bar Exam, months ahead of the timeline followed by many part-time law students, and was sworn in as an Ohio attorney in the spring of 2026.

Having previously served the firm as both a paralegal and law clerk, Angela brings a unique perspective and deep understanding of the legal process from intake through resolution. Her work focuses on litigation cases, and her hands-on experience allows her to guide clients with empathy, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the challenges they face after an injury. 

Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and friends and attending sporting events to support her favorite teams. She’s a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan Wolverines fan.
