Fatal Marion Crash: 3 Killed, 7 Injured
A Marion crash that occurred on Monday resulted in the death of three people. The crash happened on Delaware Avenue at 3:25 p.m. and is currently under investigation.
The Fremont News Messenger reported that a press release from the patrol stated that 43-year-old Larry Dennison sideswiped another vehicle and then continued to strike four more vehicles near the intersection of Delaware and Vernon Heights.
The collision between Dennison’s car and the others resulted in the death of 45-year-old Johanna Sisson, 50-year-old Edwin Sisson, and 27-year-old Amanda Sisson.
At the time, it is reported that no charges have been filed against Dennison for the fatal accident. It has also been reported that Dennison has been involved in three crashes since 2009, having been cited for failure to assure clear distance in all three.
Injured in Marion Accident
In addition to the three who were killed in this accident there were seven others who were injured. Trooper Sean Carpenter told the Fremont News Messenger that four passengers and three drivers were injured in this Delaware Avenue car accident.
