10 Year-Old Boy Is Attacked By Pit Bull
Ten-year-old Jose was walking home from school one day with some of his friends when a pit bull who had gotten out of his yard approached the group children. The dog was playful at first, but the playfulness quickly faded when the dog bit Jose and started to drag him.
People in the area saw what was happening and it took four adults to pull the dog off of him.
Sandra, who had helped get the dog off of Jose, stated that she believed the dog would have killed the boy if they had not intervened. Once free from the dog, Jose ran the whole way home.
His injuries include 10 stitches, 7 of them on his face and a gash on his leg, which has put him on crutches.
