Anneke Kurt – Author, Marketer, Former Boyk Staffer
Chuck Boyk talks with an old friend and former employee on the 59th episode
of the Boyk Brief podcast. Anneke Kurt worked for Boyk Law as the
firm’s first Marketing Director. Together, she and Chuck launched the Bikes for
Kids program, our Veterans Scholarship, and the Boyk Bulletin newsletter.
After she left Boyk Law, she founded Market Ink (www.themarketink.com),
her own legal marketing company.
Anneke also helped her brother-in-law, Kengo Kato, to launch a series of new
Toledo restaurants that built on the success and reputation of Kengo Sushi
& Yakitori, his original downtown restaurant at 38 S. St. Clair Street. a small,
precise, and uncompromising restaurant that would quickly redefine what
many thought was possible in Northwest Ohio.
She is also the author of a new book called “Heard”, a memoir of her life and
experiences that weaves moments from kitchens, travels, and everyday life into a
larger narrative about self-trust.
