Alexie Batiste
Lexi Batiste grew up in Fort Wayne, IN, before moving to Ohio to earn her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She is a second-year law student at the University of Toledo College of Law, where she is an associate member of the University of Toledo Law Review and Vice Dean of the Taft Senate of the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity. She enjoys engaging with the legal community by participating in various student organizations at the College of Law as well as local bar associations.
Lexi originally planned to work within the criminal law realm; after her first year of law school, she discovered she enjoys a wide array of civil advocacy. As a Law Clerk at Charles Boyk Law, Lexi assists attorneys and paralegals with various research and writing tasks.
Lexi is a yogi; the practices of yoga and meditation contribute to her personal well-being and demeanor in the legal field. When not in the office or at school, Lexi loves getting outdoors as much as possible in the area Metroparks. She can also be found crocheting, baking, and tending to her houseplants. Lexi has a black cat, Rita, and an orange cat, Myla.
