Charles Boyk Law Offices Launches 16th Annual Bikes for Kids Contest
Nominations for the 16th Annual Charles Boyk Law Offices Bikes for Kids contest are now open! Charles Boyk Law has given away bikes each summer since its Bikes for Kids program launched in 2009. Parents, teachers, family, and friends are encouraged to nominate a deserving child for this incredible opportunity. Visit our website and tell us why your nominee deserves a bike. Whether it’s for their positive impact on the community, academic achievements, or their resilience in overcoming adversity, we want to hear their story. From all the submissions, we’ll select 10 remarkable kids to receive a brand-new bike, courtesy of Charles E. Boyk Law Offices.
Bikes for Kids isn’t just about gifting bikes—it’s about acknowledging the extraordinary efforts of children who make a difference. “We created Bikes for Kids to honor the incredible kids in
northwest Ohio who rise above challenges and selflessly serve others,” says Chuck Boyk. Boyk Law is dedicated to promoting bicycle safety and celebrating outstanding children in our community. Over the years, we’ve proudly given away more than 150 bikes, while also promoting bike safety to families across the region.
We’re honored to continue our partnership with Wersell’s, Toledo’s oldest bike shop, for the 16th year in a row. Each bike is custom fitted by Jill Wersell, who generously provides helmets and bike locks for all our Bikes for Kids winners. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Charles Boyk Law Offices for the 16th year of Bikes for Kids!” says Jill Wersell. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to recognize these exceptional children.”
We’re also excited to continue our partnership with Brightz, a local company specializing in LED lighting for bicycles and recreational equipment. In addition to receiving a bike, all Bikes for Kids winners will also be equipped with Brightz LED lighting products for safer rides after dark.
