Stepping out of the Truck into a Worker’s Comp Claim
A truck driver was making a delivery for his employer in Rossford. The loading dock area at his destination was full of holes and rocks. As he stepped out of his truck, he slipped on loose stones and fell into a hole. This fall caused him to fracture his left ankle in two different places, dislocate his ankle, and damage ligaments as well. He had to be taken to the emergency room at Mercy Health Perrysburg Hospital by ambulance, where he was put into a soft cast. He later had extensive surgery to repair his ankle.
Before coming to us, our client had not filed any workers’ compensation claims. After his employer denied paying him fairly for his claim, he came to Charles Boyk and his team. Our firm is working tirelessly to help our client navigate the complex worker’s compensation system and ensure he gets the compensation and justice he deserves.
Golf Group T-Bones Out of State Visitor
Our client was visiting Ohio to see friends and family. As she was driving south on Napoleon Road, a car ran a stop sign and t-boned her vehicle.
The car that hit our client held five men in it who were on their way to play golf. As a result of that driver’s negligence, our client had a serious injury to her hip. She was also diagnosed with a severe traumatic brain injury and pain in her pelvis, back, and neck. Her TBI was severe and caused nausea, memory loss, and confusion.
Our client contacted Charles Boyk Law Offices soon after her accident. Chuck Boyk and his team went to work on the case and helped our client receive the necessary medical treatment. We will continue to work on her case to get her the fair compensation she deserves.
Failure to Stop Causes Farmer Serious Injuries
Our client was driving a truck eastbound on US 6 transporting 30 pregnant cows across many states. Another truck driver blew through a stop sign in Springfield Township and rammed into the side of our client’s truck. The other driver was unfortunately killed in the accident. Our client’s truck went off the left side of the road and came to a rest. At least two cows were injured during the crash. As a result of the accident, our client was taken to Defiance Regional Hospital. He now suffers from serious back injuries that are keeping him from working with his trucking business.
Andrea Young and her team are working on a claim for our client to ensure he gets the support and compensation he needs for the damage inflicted by the other driver’s negligence. We are fully committed to defending our client’s rights and making sure he gets the help and treatment he deserves.
