$470,000 SETTLEMENT – Passenger Injured in One-Car Accident after Driver Drives Off Mountain in Montana
Our client was in Montana on a hunting trip with his friends when the driver of their vehicle sped around a curve, causing the vehicle to fall off the mountain in which they were traveling on. Our client and his friends fell approximately 200 feet down, and their vehicle flipped several times. The Montana State Highway Patrol responded and issued a citation to the driver. Our client was taken by life flight and hospitalized for several days. It was found that our client had suffered many injuries including a burst fracture to his vertebra, radiculopathy, concussion, and post-traumatic stress disorder. After being cleared to travel, our client returned to Ohio for his treatment. Our client was in a cage-like back brace for an extended period of time and required several rounds of physical therapy. As a result of this accident, the client was unable to work for several months.
We were contacted by our client to assist in his legal recovery action. Attorney Mike Bruno and his pre-litigation team got to work in assisting the client with getting the compensation he was entitled to. This case settled pre-suit after our client accepted a total offer of $470,000.
