Boyk Law Helps Ukraine
When news broke that Russia had invaded Ukraine, we all asked: How can we help?
This was especially true for Charles Boyk Law Attorney, Andrea Young, who felt the overwhelming call to take action.
On March 3, 2022, Ms. Young attended a ‘Toledo Helps Ukraine’ rally held by an international law student from Ukraine, Alona Matchenko. It was at that rally that Ms. Young and Mrs. Matchenko bonded over their mutual profession and compassion for others.
Fast forward one week – Attorney Young and the Charles Boyk Law Firm had partnered up with Mrs.
Matchenko and ‘Toledo Helps Ukraine’ to collect donations and organize a shipment of humanitarian aid overseas.
Throughout the month of March, Charles Boyk Law’s Holland office quickly became the site of donation drop-offs, media coverage, and most importantly a place where a caring community of volunteers, Ukrainian refugees, high school students, and others could come together to help.
