17th annual Bikes for Kids Giveaway

Our Law Firm will give away 10 bikes this summer to deserving children in NW Ohio who are nominated by their community. Parents, teachers, family members, and friends are invited to nominate a child for the Bikes for Kids contest. You can nominate a child for overcoming adversity, positively impacting their community, or any other reason. We will choose ten nominees to receive a free bike, compliments of Charles Boyk Law.

Nominations are accepted through June 15, 2025.

Our Story

Charles Boyk Law has given away over 165 bikes since its Bikes for Kids program launched in 2009. “We created Bikes for Kids to honor the incredible kids in northwest Ohio who rise above challenges and selflessly serve others,” says Chuck Boyk.

But it isn’t just about gifting bikes—it’s about acknowledging the extraordinary efforts of children who make a difference. Boyk Law is dedicated to promoting bicycle safety and celebrating outstanding children in our community.

Winners Receive a Custom Fitted Bike

Charles Boyk Law always purchases bikes from Wersell’s, Toledo’s oldest bike shop. Jill Wersell, owner of Wersell’s Bike Shop, personally custom fits the bikes and provides a helmet and bike lock for each of the Bikes for Kids winners. “We are always excited to work with Chuck Boyk to give away bikes to some great kids!”
