WARNING: Kellogg Recalls Special K Cereal

voluntarily recalled certain packages of its Special K Red Berries cereal because they may contain fragments of glass. The packages affected by the recall are certain 11.2 ounces, 22.4 ounce, and 37 ounce boxes sold in the US.

The Kellogg Company asks consumers to check the boxes they have purchased to see if they are one of the above sizes. If the boxes are, consumers should then look for the below information:

11.2 ounce box of Kellogg Red Berries Cereal:

  • Better if Used Before:
    • Dec 2, 2013 KNC 105 00:13 to Dec 2, 2013 KNC 105 2:30

22.4 ounce twin pack of Kellogg Red Berries Cereal:

  • UPC Code 38000 78356
  • Better if Used Before:
    • Nov 30, 2013 KNA 105 07:00 to Nov 30, 2013 KNA 105 08:51
    • Nov 30, 2013  KNB 105 15:00 to Nov 30, 2013 KNB 105 17:05

37 ounce box of Kellogg Red Berries Cereal:

  • UPC Code 38000 20940
  • Better if Used Before:
    • Nov 30, 2013 KNB 107 17:31 to Nov 30, 2013 KNB 107 20:05

If your box of Kellogg Red Berries Cereal matches the above criteria, you should NOT eat it. Kellogg is telling consumers to contact the company for a replacement coupon.
