Ohio Truck Accident Claims The Life Of One Man
While all of the Ohio motor vehicle accidents seen by the Charles Boyk Law Offices are tragic, our Toledo injury lawyers constantly face one inevitable truth: the larger the vehicles involved in a collision, the higher the chances are that the injuries sustained are going to be permanent or fatal.Such are the circumstances surrounding the recent case of a Toledo area man who was killed in a multi-vehicle truck accident.

While traveling south on the interstate, 21 year-old Trenton Turner lost control of his pickup truck on the wet road causing him to swerve across three left lanes of traffic and strike the guardrail. In the process, Turner’s vehicle was struck by a semi-truck drive by Luis Rivera, which was hit while spinning back into the southbound lanes.

Although Rivera was not injured, law enforcement officials and emergency medical crews pronounced Turner dead at the scene.

While the accident is still under investigation, police attribute both speed and road conditions to be causing factors in this crash.

Although liability may seem like a very easy thing to place in incidents like these, take it from our Toledo truck accident attorneys: it can in fact be one of the hardest. That is why contacting experienced legal counsel is so important–not only can a lawyer provide the best legal representation for accident victims, but they can also help explain the difficult and complex insurance claim process. Don’t hesitate to explore all of your legal options today!
