Major Renovations Expected For I-475 And US 23

An intersection in Sylvania is set to see changes for the safety of the drivers. The car accident attorneys at the Charles E. Boyk Law Offices are pleased to share the news that was announced about the merging point of westbound I-475 and US 23, ranked as one of the most dangerous interchanges in a recent survey.

The Ohio Department of Transportation announced the changes that are going to take place in 2014 in a press conference on Wednesday.  Reports say that the renovations will include a separate lane for drivers that wish to exit I-475 onto Central Avenue will be able to do so without entering US 23.

Officials say that this is the first step in a major renovation to the entire I-475 corridor.

Future plans could include the widening of the highway to four lanes, but no official announcements have come yet.
