The Charles E. Boyk Law Offices would like to keep you informed about the recall of food products that can pose harmful and even fatal illness. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Here is some information on the products:

Forever Cheese has issued a recall of its entire Marte brand Ricotta Salata Frescolina cheese supply distributed between September 1, 2011 and August 31, 2012 due to possible Listeria Monocytogenes contamination. All consumers are encouraged to contact distributors or restaurants from whom they purchased ricotta products.

The Sunland Incorporated peanut butter recall continues to expand; now including over 100 different products such as Almond Butter, Peanut Butter, Cashew Butter, and Tahini due to salmonella risk. This recall covers over 18 states, and consumers are recommended to dispose of the products and call Sunland immediately.
