On Tuesday morning, a semi truck collided with a Dodge Ram on US 20 near County Road 128 in Sandusky Township.
Driver of the Dodge Ram, Daniel Magers Jr., ran a stop sign causing the two vehicles to collide. Magers and his passenger, Shannon Mcgrew, were thrown from the vehicle, and Magers was pronounced dead at the scene. Mcgrew was taken first to Fremont hospital, and then taken via medical helicopter to Toledo St. Vincent Medical Center.
Our thoughts are with the Magers family, and we wish Mcgrew a speedy recovery for the injuries she has suffered. The driver of the semi truck, Russell Lucas, did not sustain any injuries.
