Fatal Crash After Truck And Motorcycle Collide
A young Ohio man has died from the injuries he sustained from a motorcycle accident. Kory Lafferty, 26, was pronounced dead on Wednesday at Akron City Hospital following the motorcycle crash he was involved in on Saturday.
The crash occurred when Lafferty was traveling eastbound on Tallmadge Road shortly before 9 p.m. when a truck traveling westbound attempted to make a left turn into a residential driveway and turned directly into the path of Lafferty’s motorcycle.
Upon impact, Lafferty was ejected from the bike. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. We want to remind everyone to always wear their helmet while riding on a motorcycle. You may be asking yourself what are the helmet laws in the state of Ohio?
