Downtown Toledo Auto Accident Injures Two

While driving westbound on Monroe Street, 25 year-old August D. Bell collided with another vehicle driven by Christopher T. Matthews, 33. Matthews was traveling north on Erie Street at the time of the accident. The impact caused Bell’s vehicle to swerve into a life pole, resulting in significant personal injuries. Upon the arrival of the emergency medical team, Bell was immediately rushed to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where he is listed in serious condition. Although Matthews was also taken to the hospital for medical treatment, his injuries were determined to be non life-threatening.
