After handling motor vehicle accidents in Toledo for several years, the Ohio car injury lawyers at the Charles Boyk Law Offices know that all collisions have the potential to be tragic, regardless of the time or place. However, those that involve more than one vehicle are especially disappointing as it increases the likelihood that several people sustained personal injury in the crash.
Such are the circumstances of a recent Toledo auto accident that resulted in the injury of two drivers.
While driving westbound on Monroe Street, 25 year-old August D. Bell collided with another vehicle driven by Christopher T. Matthews, 33. Matthews was traveling north on Erie Street at the time of the accident. The impact caused Bell’s vehicle to swerve into a life pole, resulting in significant personal injuries. Upon the arrival of the emergency medical team, Bell was immediately rushed to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where he is listed in serious condition. Although Matthews was also taken to the hospital for medical treatment, his injuries were determined to be non life-threatening.
