Crash On U.S. 224 Injures Four

An accident that took place last Tuesday night sent 4 people to the hospital.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has reported that around 6:20 pm Connie Cook, 65, failed to yield at the intersection of U.

S. 224 and State Route 587. Cook crashed her vehicle into a car being driven by Peter Krupp, 50.

Following the crash, Connie was taken to Mercy Tiffin, but later flown to Mercy St. Vincent’s in Toledo for further treatment. Her passenger, 58-year-old Steven Cook suffered minor injuries in the crash. Mr. Krupp was taken from the scene to Fostoria Community Hospital while his passenger, 49-year-old Diana Wise, was taken to Tiffin Hospital for the treatment of her injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
