Auto Accident Leads to Workers’ Compensation Claim & Third-Party Personal Injury Action
Our client was traveling southbound on SR 590, approaching the intersection of CR 13. At the same time, another driver was traveling westbound on CR 13. The other driver failed to stop at a stop sign and entered our client’s path of travel. As a result, our client smashed into the other vehicle’s passenger side, and both cars went off-road, causing our client to strike a utility post and a brick light post before coming to rest. He was taken by ambulance to the ER with a head wound. At the ER he was found to have a lumbar disc injury and a blood clot in his leg. Because he was on the job at the time of the accident our office is pursuing a workers’ compensation claim and a personal injury claim against the at-fault driver
