Canton, OH Trooper Injured In Crash
34-year-old Highway Patrol Trooper David S.
Garber was treated for minor injuries after a crash on Cleveland Avenue Southeast in Canton Township in Ohio.
44 year-old Daniel James was driving on Cleveland Avenue when he made a left turn into the path of Trooper Garber. Mr. James then hit Trooper Garber’s car and forced it off the side of the road then into a curb and concrete footer outside a gas station.
Reports say Mr. James had minor injuries and refused to submit to alcohol testing after the crash.
At the scene of the accident, Mr.
James was cited for drunken driving, failure to yield and failure to display a valid registration.
