“Buff Baby” Rattle Recalled Due To Choking Hazard
The Fred & Friends “Buff Baby” baby rattle has been recalled due to a choking hazard. The plastic rattle, shaped like a dumbbell, measures about 5.5 inches long and 2 inches wide. There have been reports that the “Baby Buff” rattle caps have been separation, posing a choking hazard.
Parents that have purchased the Baby Buff rattle should immediately take it away from their young children. They may contact Fred & Friends for a refund.
There have been no injuries reported from the baby rattle yet.
The rattles were sold at specialty toy and baby stores nationwide, as well as online on Amazon, and several other websites. The dates of sale are between October 2011 and June 2013 for a price between $7 and $10.
