Attorney Charles Boyk Recognizes Teachers In The Community
Attorney Charles Boyk’s law office is hosting a Teacher Appreciation Contest at Start High School. Attorney Boyk attended Start High School when he was growing up, so he wanted to give back and show his appreciation to the staff at the school.
The Charles E. Boyk Law Office uploaded a video that asked students to nominate their teachers for the contest. The students would submit a video stating why their teacher should be the Teacher of the Month.
The winning teacher each month receives a $250 Visa gift card while the nominating student receives a $50 gift card.
October Teacher of the Month
The October Teacher of the Month is Lori Crawford. Miss Crawford was nominated by Eddie Murphy. He shared a video with our law office explaining why he is nominated Miss Crawford for the Teacher of the Month.
“Miss Crawford is a great lady…You can go up and ask her questions at any time and she will jump, ready to help you,” explained Murphy. “Another reason why I would nominate Miss Crawford is that she will never just leave you hanging in the water…she is the type of teacher that will look you up and down and [tell you that] you are a great student.”
Murphy explained that Miss Crawford produces “A” students, and as a senior, he is trying to finish out the year on top. “She is a great person…a lovely person, and a great person at the same time.”
The Reveal

Miss Crawford was very thankful to have won the Teacher of the Month and even got a little teary eyed as Eddie explained the reasons why she deserved the award.
