2 Children Injured In Pedestrian Vehicle Accident
Monday evening two children were playing and darted out into the streets into the line of traffic. The children, ages 7 and 9, were both hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Both children were flown to the hospital after they were hit on W.
Main Street in New London. The driver of the vehicle did not have time to stop.
Both children are expected to recover. Although the crash is still under investigation, it appears that the driver was not at fault.
