Growing up in a small town, Jackie left her hometown for Toledo to attend college and find a diverse selection of legal opportunities. After attending college at Northwest State Community College and the University of Toledo, Jackie decided she wanted to assist those who have been injured and help them navigate the complex processes that are often involved when someone is severely injured.
Jackie joined Boyk Law in the Workers Compensation Department and quickly became an asset to her coworkers and clients utilizing 14 years of experience in the legal profession and 6 in Worker’s Compensation to take on a challenge and work the difficult cases. Advocating for clients who have been injured on the job, Jackie combines expertise, a strong work ethic, and empathy to give those who cannot speak up for themselves a voice.
Jackie enjoys reading Grisham novels, which focus on the legal profession and the struggle to advocate for those who have often been forgotten or overlooked by the system. At Boyk Law, we are all animal lovers, and Jackie, a supporter of rescue animals, recently adopted 2 black cats from the Toledo Humane Society. Always advocating for those who need it, Jackie has said if she won the lottery, she would start an animal rescue that specializes in black cats, because they are the least adopted and misunderstood. On her time off from work, Jackie enjoys being outdoors, biking, walking and watching her Goddaughter run cross country.
