PAWYER OF THE MONTH
Auggie, whose full name is Augusta, after the Masters golf tournament, is the newest Paw Clerk to join the Boyk Law Office!
Auggie is a 4-year-old goldendoodle who is well qualified for his new position. Although he can’t officially claim the title of Pawyer until he passes the Bark Exam, he attended online classes with his dog mom while she completed her bachelor’s at the University of Cincinnati. Auggie also sits at the University of Toledo Law School during study sessions, so he is well-versed in legal jargon. He takes his new role seriously and wears a bow tie or bandana to distinguish himself as a pawfessional.
As a puppy, Auggie looked like a stuffed animal that you couldn’t help but squeeze and love on. Now he is much bigger, but he believes he can fit in anyone’s lap and insists you let him try. It is very important to Auggie that he stops to say hi to every
person or dog he sees. Even though he is new to Boyk Law, he made himself at home and helped himself to dog toys from other offices.
Like many doodles, he is both extremely lovable and extremely dramatic. He has mastered the ability to manipulate most humans into playing with him a little longer, getting a new toy from the store, or giving him an extra treat! In those rare instances
when told “no,” a sigh or paw stomp will surely follow.
Auggie has many nicknames, including Auggie Doggie, Aug Dog, Handsome Boy, and Mr. Long Legs. He has made friends with everyone on the Boyk team and most of the Pawyers in the office. His dog mom said bringing Auggie to the office is like
sending kids to their grandparents for the night; he gets extremely spoiled and doesn’t have to follow the rules.
