EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: JASON LUGINBUHL

With more than a decade of experience in workers’ compensation and 13 years as a medical assistant, Jason brings a unique combination of medical knowledge, legal experience, and genuine compassion to the Boyk Law team. Before joining the firm, he spent nearly 10 years at UTMC helping injured workers navigate the workers’ compensation system, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges clients face.

What drew him to Boyk Law was the opportunity to continue advocating for injured individuals while working alongside colleagues with whom he had built trusted professional relationships over the years. Today, he enjoys guiding clients through every step of the workers’ compensation process and takes pride in ensuring they receive the care, attention, and justice they deserve.

His approach is simple: treat every client like family. Whether it’s answering questions, explaining paperwork, or simply offering a reassuring conversation, he believes every client deserves the “red carpet” experience from the moment they walk through the door.

Outside of work, faith and family are at the center of his life. He enjoys spending time with his fiancée and 13-year-old son, cheering on Detroit sports teams, and relaxing with family whenever he can. He also shares his home with an 11-pound Shih Tzu who keeps everyone on their toes.

One piece of advice from his late father has guided him throughout his career: “It’s only a mistake if you don’t learn something from it.” That mindset continues to shape how he approaches life and work: always learning, always growing, and always putting clients first.
