Largest Jury Verdict In Wood Co. Awarded To Amputee

Our client’s lower right leg was run over after he saved the life of a man about to be run over by a semi truck. After undergoing numerous operations and skin grafts, our client ultimately had to have his leg amputated below the knee.

The lawsuit was filed in the Wood County Common Pleas Court against both Continental Express and its driver, Raymond Blake, the man who ran over our client’s leg.

The jury deliberated for only two hours before reaching a verdict. The jury found that Continental Express was liable for our client’s injuries and they awarded him $1.25 million to be paid by the trucking company.
