Negligent Driver Runs Stop Sign and Injured Driver Recovers $250,000 Policy Limits

In March of 2021, our client was driving in Monroe County, Michigan, and approached an intersection. At the same time, another driver negligently failed to stop at the intersection stop sign and turned into our client’s lane of travel. As a result of the ensuing collision, both vehicles sustained disabling damage and our client suffered a fracture of the right ankle with persistent marrow edema, avascular necrosis of the right ankle, and injury to her right iliac crest. The injuries to her right ankle eventually necessitated an ankle fusion with joint debridement and bone grafting to her right iliac crest. Our client, who was a floor nurse and enjoyed a busy life with her daughter, was significantly impacted by the change in her lifestyle. Chuck Boyk and his team of legal professionals were able to provide her with the financial stability needed to begin the healing process.
