$100,000 POLICY LIMITS SETTLEMENT – Passenger Injured When Driver Loses Control of Vehicle

In April 2023, our client was a passenger in a vehicle where the driver lost control and struck a utility pole. The collision caused the vehicle to catch fire. Our client was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital where it was discovered that she had sustained a right femur fracture. Initially upon arrival at the hospital our client required intubation for pain management. She was then urgently taken into surgery where underwent surgical repair of her femur fracture that included the placement of five screws and a plate to stabilize the injury. She then remained in the hospital for six days prior to being discharged to a rehabilitation facility.

Immediately after she contacted us, our team went to work contacting the driver’s insurance company, ordering medical bills and records, and ensuring that our client got the result she deserved. After collecting the essential information, Mr. Boyk and his pre-litigation team sent a demand for the policy limits to the insurance company and was successful in securing the policy limits of $100,000 for our client.
