Area Bars Sued Over DUI Deaths

A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against several bars that served alcohol to a drunken man before a fatal car accident. Anthony Bruno, 27, was driving home drunk on January 28, 2010. He had consumed alcohol before, during and after a Reading Royals game. On his way home he struck a vehicle containing three people. All three of those people, Chad Horne, 22, Robin Villegas, 52, and Terri Ann Burskirk, 45, were killed at the scene.

The three were on their way home from a family gathering after a funeral.

Bruno’s blood-alcohol level was .

23 percent after the crash. The legal limit is .08.
