Two drivers were injured in a three-vehicle crash over the weekend of December 16, 2011. The drivers did not seem to have serious injuries at the scene of the accident, according to the EMS responding authorities.
Monroeville resident Morgan M. Rarick, was charged with failure to control in connection with the accident which occurred around 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening. The three-vehicle collision took place on U.S. 20 near DeRussey Road.
Rarick, while eastbound on U.S. 20, lost control due to icy road conditions that swept across the area on sundown Saturday. She crossed the center line according to the report. The 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt she was driving then was hit by the westbound 1995 Ford Bronco driven by Mona G. Fincham.
Fincham’s sports utility vehicle was hit in the rear by Alexis N. Ramage. Ramage was driving westbound on U.S. 20 directly behind Fincham before the accident.
Fincham and Ramage weren’t transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
The Cobalt driven by Rarick and the 2002 Ford Mustang driven by Ramage was towed from the scene with disabling damages to the automobiles.
