UT Student Bar Association Hosts Fundraiser to Strike Out Discrimination

On April 16th, an awe-inspiring team of Boyk Law Bowlers took to the alleys of Miracle Lanes as part of the University of Toledo’s Student Bar Association Strike Out Discrimination Fundraiser for the benefit of the Fair Housing Center. The mighty Boyk bowling team not only dominated the competition while supporting a worthy cause, but we also had a great time while doing it!

The Fair Housing Center was established in 1975 in response to discriminatory housing practices. The Fair Housing Center educates renters and home buyers and investigates housing discrimination to make sure all persons are given equal opportunity in the housing market.

All who seek housing should have an equal opportunity to rent, purchase, finance, or insure the property they choose.

For more information on the Fair Housing Center, visit their website at www.toledofhc.org

The fundraiser was organized by the Student Bar Association of the University of Toledo College of Law. The Student Bar Association is responsible for enhancing the quality of life for law students at Toledo Law by sponsoring academic, social, networking, and community service events. Additionally, SBA provides opportunities for student leadership and funding for student organizations at the college. For questions, contact ToledoLawSBA@gmail.com.
