There is a happy smiling face waiting to greet you at the Charles Boyk Law – Holland office. Tori Hinton, our new receptionist, is the kind of person who always says “Bless you,” when someone sneezes. She is a genuinely kind and friendly person, but she takes her role seriously. She is the first point of contact with Charles Boyk Law Offices, and feels she can make an impact by showing empathy. She makes it a point to smile when she answers each phone call.
Tori came to Charles Boyk Law after years in Customer Service positions with Century Label in Bowling Green, OH and FriendsOffice in Findlay. At one of her previous positions, she received phone training, which emphasized excellent customer service. “Never let the next caller feel as if they are a burden or are interrupting something,” she explains.
Tori was drawn to a position in our office specifically because it was a law firm. She divorced after twenty years of marriage, but she recalls that the receptionist at her lawyer’s office was the best part of the process. “She helped make things better”, says Tori. “And that’s what I try to do for the people who call Boyk Law.”
“Calling or visiting a law firm can be stressful because it’s not something they do every day,” says Tori. “I am the person who begins the process of helping them.” Tori, always walks clients to our conference rooms, offering refreshments with a kind smile.
She has two children and two grandchildren. Tori is a big amateur wrestling fan. Her son wrestled at Elmwood High School and the University of Indianapolis. She and her boyfriend are Toledo Walleye hockey fans and also like to attend concerts, especially country music. “We love sharing experiences over material things.“
Charles Boyk Law Offices welcomes Tori Hinton to our team. If you need help, she is standing by to take your call with a smile on her face.
