Law Office Supports Cancer Funding & Research
The Charles E. Boyk Law Office’s Communications Director recently volunteered as a host for the 20th Annual Up on the Roof fundraiser.
Our office sees the subject of childhood cancer very near and dear to our hearts. It is has been an honor to be able to use our resources to help support cancer research and different fundraisers throughout the area.
At the Up on the Roof event, there were nearly 900 guests that enjoyed an evening of hors d’oeuvres., cocktails, and a three course meal while hearing the sounds of Chicago-based Ken Arlen Orchestra.
“It’s inspiring to see everyone come together and fight for cancer research, whether it is on the dance floor, on the golf course or by pounding the pavement.” said our Communications Director.
Donations from the Up on the Roof event are still being tallied, but the funds raised will be given to The Ohio State University Comprehensive Care Centers – Arthur G. James Cancer hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. The total amount of donations resulting from the evening is expected to be more than 0,000.
Our office is happy to be able to help with such events and we know that the work that is put into events like this, along with golf scrambles and 5k run fundraisers will all result in a cure for something that affects so many of our loved ones.
