Bus Carrying Marching Band Catches Fire In Ohio

A bus caught fire in Northeast Ohio while carrying a high school marching band to a Martin Luther King Jr. event in Pennsylvania.

Band director Donshon Wilson of Shaw High School in East Cleveland told WEWS-TV that a tire blew out on Monday, January 16, 2012, and caught fire.

Students were evacuated and 911 was called.

No one was injured in the incident.

The Ohio Department of Transportation stated that eastbound lanes of the highway were closed for over two hours in Lake County.
