$3 Million Lawsuit Against State Farm

David Bowdler was injured in a car accident in 2008 where he was not the at-fault driver. He sustained a fractured neck and a fractured wrist.

Because of the at-fault driver, Randall Spivey, only had ,000 in insurance coverage the attempt was made to collect money from his underinsured insurance policy since his medical bills went far beyond ,000.

Mr. Bowdler’s policy stated that he had $2 Million in underinsured coverage.

State Farm had made an offer to Mr. Bowdler but it was nowhere near his policy limits and so they refused to pay.

This led to a four-day trial where David Bowdler was eventually awarded $3 Million for his medical costs and pain and suffering.
