2 Dogs Attack Young Boy
A 7-year old boy was attacked by two dogs as he ran into the house of another child from his neighborhood. The incident happened just before 5 p.m. As the boy ran after his friend, he was attacked by two dogs in the house. The first was a Labrador and the second a mixed-breed. The boy fled the house with the dogs chasing after him.
He sustained bites to the arm to both of his thighs and he was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital for treatment of those injuries.
Because the dogs had not been vaccinated since 2009, they had to be taken from the home and placed in observation for 10 days at a veterinarian’s office in order to be sure that the dogs do not exhibit any crazy behavior or show signs of having the rabies virus.
