12th Annual Saline Scarecrow Contest Celebrates Michigan Favorites
Borer Family Chiropractic held its 12th Annual Scarecrow Contest in Saline, Michigan. Individuals, businesses, organizations, and clubs designed Scarecrows which were displayed in the
downtown business district. The theme for the 2023 contest was “My Michigan Favorite”. 
The contest is organized by Drs. Rob and Sherri Borer of Borer Family Chiropractic to attract visitors and promote community spirit in Saline. “Many families and businesses have participated since the beginning 12 years ago. Some contestants spend months planning and building their Scarecrows,” said Dr. Rob Borer, self-proclaimed, Chief Scarecrow Curator.
This year’s collection of Scarecrows began to appear in the Saline business district on October 1st and the public voted online for their favorite from Oct 14 – Oct 25. The winners were announced in individual, group, small business, and large business categories at the community
Charles Boyk Law Offices was “Our Favorite Hockey Team”. Boyk Law loves hockey, and our Michigan favorite is the Detroit Red Wings. Goaltending is the key to winning the Stanley Cup, so Boyk Lawc created Scarecrow Goalie Dominik Hay-Sak! Let’s Go Red Wings!
