Nancy has been a litigation paralegal for 24 years. After earning her degree from the University of Toledo, she spent the first 18 years of her career working for two local defense firms. During that time, she gained an immeasurable amount of knowledge and experience in litigation and trial practices and procedures working on a variety of different cases, such as mass tort asbestos litigation, medical malpractice, and product liability cases. Nancy believes her experience and years working for the defense have provided her with a unique perspective and valuable insights to assist our clients in obtaining the best results for their cases.
According to Nancy, “the most inspiring part of my job is the difference I can help make in our clients’ lives.” Nancy is a firm believer in attention to detail and quick response times and believes it is important to put value in every problem, big and small, that is presented by her clients.
As a dog lover, which is common in the Boyk Law offices, Nancy feels fortunate because her three French Bulldogs: Penny, Dexter, and Ellie, can join her at work every day. When visiting the office, a familiar scene is Nancy’s three dogs sitting near her desk or playing with the other office dogs. Her love of French Bulldogs is evident, and when asked what she would do if she won the lottery, “Start a French Bulldog Rescue Organization!” was her response.
Nancy has two children, Caleb and Carys, who are both in college and bring Nancy pride for the amazing young adults they have become. When she is not working, Nancy enjoys binge-watching crime/mystery tv series and documentaries, reading the Nate Shepherd Legal Thriller Series, and crafting various projects for friends and family.
