Substantial Settlement For Client Injured In A High School Play
Our client was a sophomore in high school and a cast member in the school play. He was standing on an upraised stage area with no protective railing when he fell 8-10 feet to the stage floor and suffered a mild traumatic brain injury. We proved liability by obtaining the specific ANSI standards for theater productions and proving a violation. Damages were proven through reports from a neuropsychologist and an independent doctor to review all the records, meet with the client, and tie all the injuries together. The result was a sizable structured settlement to help the young man down the road.
