Couple Injured When Vehicle Pulls Into Path of their MotorcycleOur office represents a couple who were riding a motorcycle on Sugar Ridge Road, when another vehicle pulled out of a private drive and directly into their path of travel. Our office is investigating whether the other driver was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the collision. Upon impact, our clients were ejected from their motorcycle and suffered extensive injuries. The husband suffered a blood clot in his lung, and mangled his leg so badly that it required amputation. The wife suffered fractures to her collarbone, legs, vertebrae, and right hand. The couple are currently in a skilled nursing facility recovering from their injuries.
