Multiple Semi Truck Accident Results in One Driver on Fire
Our clients, two semi-trailer truck drivers, were traveling in separate trucks along the same route when they each pulled over to repair their semis. While parked at the side of the road, a third semi-truck traveling at approximately 60mph struck our first client’s semi, causing it to collide with our other second client’s rig. Unfortunately, our client driving the second semi was outside of the truck during the accident. She and her semi-truck caught fire. While still in flames, she ran to check on the first semi-driver, who is also her fiancé. Fortunately, both survived the accident but are now dealing with serious, permanent injuries. One client suffered numerous burns, broken ribs, and a fractured clavicle. Our other client suffered a traumatic brain injury as well as injuries to his neck and back. Our office is pursuing workers’ compensation claims for both drivers and a separate negligence claim against the owner of the third semi-trailer truck.

Pilot Killed in Plane Crash After Faulty Engine Declared Airworthy
Our client, a pilot, was operating an airplane when suddenly its engine malfunctioned, causing his plane to crash. This aircraft was previously maintained, repaired, and inspected by a local aircraft repair company. The aircraft and its engine were incorrectly deemed as airworthy by this company before it was operated by our client. Due to the company’s negligence in repairing and inspecting the aircraft, our client tragically lost his life at the young age of twenty-three. Our office is local counsel and is assisting in pursuing a wrongful death action on behalf of the surviving family.

Blown Stop Sign Ends in Woman Being Life Flighted
On their way home from church, our clients, a husband and wife, were struck by another driver who blew through a stop sign. Upon impact, the wife lost consciousness and was life-flighted to a nearby hospital. She suffered substantial injuries to her head, requiring numerous staples, a fractured rib, and an injury to her wrist that required surgery with the placement of hardware. The husband was also transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital for the several injuries he sustained. Our office is currently pursuing a negligence claim against the at-fault driver.
