Settlement – Man Sustains Serious Injury When Driver Fails to Stop at Stop Sign
Car Accident InjuriesIn May 2019, our client was traveling eastbound on State Route 613 in Allen Township, Ohio, approaching the intersection with I-75, when he sustained serious injuries in a motor vehicle collision because the defendant driver failed to stop at a posted stop sign and struck our client’s vehicle. Our client was transported from the scene of the accident by ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital to treat his injuries.
At the hospital, it was determined that our client was suffering from injuries to his shoulder, hip, and hand. He then sought further treatment from an orthopedic surgeon, who determined that he had sustained multiple tendon tears to his right shoulder and that surgical intervention was necessary to repair our client’s injuries. Our client also required extensive physical therapy for the injuries to his lower back and hip.
