In 2018, our client sustained numerous injuries when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Our client was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 in Erie County, Ohio, when the defendant driver sideswiped our client. Emergency medical services arrived on the scene and transported our client to a nearby hospital to treat her injuries.
At the hospital, our client reported that she had pain in her back, head, and chest. She was evaluated and it was determined that she did not sustain any immediately apparent serious injuries and she was fortunately able to be discharged from the hospital. While our client did not suffer any life-threatening injuries, the accident itself and injuries she did sustain took a significant toll on her both physically and mentally. Shortly after the accident, our client began experiencing excruciating migraines on a daily basis. These migraines were especially debilitating and caused our client great discomfort. Prior to the accident, our client already suffered from arthritis, and the accident severely aggravated those related symptoms, causing her to suffer from restricted mobility and pain. She also began to experience severe anxiety attacks that significantly impaired her ability to function in her day-to-day life.
We were able to completely avoid the need for our client to ever set foot into a courtroom as we were able to obtain a satisfactory settlement for her. The settlement we were able to secure for our client will go a long way to account for the injuries and troubles she has incurred.
