$100,000 Settlement – Man Suffers Back and Neck Injury in Auto Accident

In 2013, our client was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Monroe Street and Washington Avenue in Toledo, Ohio when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident. The defendant driver failed to stop, causing a collision with our client. After the accident, our client sought treatment at a nearby hospital, where he was diagnosed with injuries to his back and neck.

Prior to this accident, our client had a history of past injury to his back that required extensive medical treatment. As a direct result of this accident, our client’s back injury was aggravated, and he endured significant pain for an extended period of time. This pain required our client to take time off work, attend numerous doctors’ appointments, and engage in rehabilitation in efforts to treat his continued back injury.

Our firm was retained to assist our client in his recovery and our team worked tirelessly to ensure that our client got the recovery he deserved. We filed suit in the Common Pleas Court of Lucas County, but through successful negotiations we avoided trial and obtained a large settlement for our client. The settlement we recovered on his behalf will go a long way to account for his pain and suffering.
