$100,000 Settlement – Man Injured in Car Accident When Driver Pulls Out in Front of Him Resulting in Collision

In 2016, while driving near the intersection of Sylvania Avenue and Monroe Street in Toledo, Ohio, our client was involved in a motor vehicle accident. The defendant driver, failing to see our client’s car approaching, exited a parking lot directly into our client’s path of travel, resulting in a collision. Our client was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

At the hospital, our client reported that he was suffering from pain in his back and head. After a series of tests, our client was diagnosed with two herniated discs and a concussion. He was released from the hospital and required six weeks of physical therapy to regain his strength and mobility. Our client also required chiropractic treatment and was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome by his chiropractor. Unfortunately, even with treatment our client’s injuries did not fully heal and six months after the accident he was required to undergo a surgical operation to repair the injury to his back.

We were contacted to assist our client in his recovery shortly after the accident occurred and were successful in avoiding the need for him to have to endure a lengthy trial as we obtained a satisfactory policy limits settlement for him.
