$100,000 SETTLEMENT – Car Accident Requires Passenger to Have Wrist Surgery

Our client was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle driving westbound on Monroe Street in Toledo, Ohio. The vehicle was approaching the intersection at Monroe Street and Lawrence Avenue. Another vehicle was traveling on Lawrence approaching the intersection as well. The other vehicle ran a red light and collided with the vehicle our client was in. Our client and the driver of her vehicle were both injured. The other driver was cited under RC 4511.13 for running a red light.

Our client was taken by the Toledo Fire Department to Toledo Hospital for her injuries. She was examined and found to have a left wrist fracture. Our client attended occupational therapy but later required surgery on her wrist to insert hardware.

While our client was getting treatment for her injuries, Attorney Michael Bruno and his team were diligently working to help her. They negotiated with the insurance company and were able to receive a full policy offer. Our client agreed to a $100,000 settlement.
