Our client was traveling southbound on North Holland-Sylvania Road and was just a few blocks away from her home when she was involved in a serious car accident. As our client was approaching the intersection with Bancroft Street, traffic was heavy, and the light ahead had turned red. Our client properly slowed down, however, the driver behind her did not. The driver behind our client failed to notice traffic ahead of her coming to a stop and was traveling approximately 40-50 miles per hour, even though the speed limit was only 35 mph.
